August 2024 Prayers

Dear Church on the Street Family,

I cannot tell you how much your prayers mean to people. People diligently fill out prayer request slips at worship or the laundromat. I often get calls and texts with prayers, too. You are a blessing to many! As the school year begins, Church on the Street begins a new chapter, too, with Intern Deacon Mara beginning her time with us next week. Please hold her and her family in your prayers during this time of transition. We formally welcome her in worship on Saturday, September 14th. Thanks be to God for your continuing partnership in prayer and caring for all of God's people.

Marilyn Roubideaux: Pray for myself for now. I recently got out of the hospital and there are alot going on in my body so I wish you can please say a prayer for me please…My failing Heart, My Cancer Kidney, My liver. I am so blessed I made it this far and I go around blessing everyone, I feel their pain and pray and pray and bless them. Please just say a prayer for me. Thank you, God bless.

Anonymous: Please forgive me for all of my discretions. And love and happiness for those that hurt me, give them everything they want so hurt may be resolved. In Jesus name amen.

Pray for Lucille Skunk: Battling Stage 4 breast cancer. She is set to retire after 40 years in Oct working in finance. Also for their daughter who has 4 sons they were recently flooded out of their home and daughter has a spine injury due to the work.

Pray for Camilla and 4 sons. Work injury spine and flood help.

Rhonda Little: pray for me and my family and friends. Health and healing protection! For new family, for financial blessing for us all.

Marlee Sue: Pray for me to get off the streets and to get an apartment    Amen

Pray for family, especially my sons who have some bad habits, I pray to God he will help us all. I’m in need of a home and hope I finally find one.  Amen

Pray for Angel,left side of my neck goes to numb and shingles and then it hurts and it’s very painful.

Lavita R.G.: pray for my family that needs healing and love as they’re mourning a loved one, for strength for the lost ones and prayers for my children as they go to boarding school to achieve good grades. Amen

Pray for Pat Eastman family sobriety, guidance, protection.  Hope for the grandkids to help with a new school year. Patience, trust, loyalty for all the family. For Bradley that he rests in peace, In loving memory.

Leona M. Atterbury: Pray for me to stop having suicidal thoughts with my medication that I’m now taking again, as well as the anxiety and despression.

Pray for Kathy White Buffalo Chief Crowe, my wife!  Dad, Mom, brothers, sister, grandmother, grandfather, aunty and uncles.

Delilah J. Atterbury: Pray for me to no longer be in pain and to get back to do normal activities.

TJ Hernandez: Pray for my family, people that are homeless, myself. I have been aching all over my body. I pray for healing, strength for my addiction to alcohol.

Cindy Day: Pray for Dustin Day, my grandkids, watch over us all. Please  help my son stop drinking, please forgive us for all our sins.

Anonymous: Not sure where to go to church, not happy with where I have been attending.   Have lots of health issues, dog sick (my closest companion) I am retired, alone and kids, grandkids, great grandkids, lots of health, money issues and more issues (relationship , spiritual)

Karla Rivers: Pray for myself sobriety. For Darcy, her relationship, for Dawson in Redfield. For Julie in HSC in Yankton, for my grandson, Angel, in Rapid City minimum prison. For strength and guidance. I pray for a box fan and a DVD player.  Thank you, God Bless

Pray for my brothers that you help them make it through their struggles to help my other brother to find a plan for him and his new starting family. To help my brother stop doing drugs. I pray for my mom to help her get better and to help her not to do drugs as well.

Pray for my father Virgil Charging Hawk and all us sick. Also to all of us knowing the struggles real.

Pray for: Friesen Family-Since Jeannie passed away they need all the prayers. Also please pray for my step son Kip. He was in a coma for over a month and barely staying alive.

Pray for Maddy & Leroy-Our legal CPS cases, homelessness, husband Jaime, current parole.

Pray for Bev-has cancer, Roberta is an addict. And for the Schweitzer to see there trying to get car going again. Thank you, God bless.
