Pastor Chris is passionate about sharing God's love with people from all walks of life. She relishes building community by hearing what God is up to in the lives of those she meets, sharing a word of prayer, and finding ways to meet needs with the abundant resources God provides. Pastor Chris is an Ordained Pastor in the ELCA committed to working with ecumenical and interfaith partners, and a Mission Developer.

I had been involved with some street ministry with my home church, Gloria Dei, and it was something that really spoke to my heart. So when I heard about Church on the Street I knew I wanted to be involved. I really enjoy going out on the Street and visiting with people and I'm so happy we have given people who wouldn't be comfortable in a church a place to worship!

After going on a few mission trips (Philadelphia and Seattle) as a youth leader at my home church, I knew there was a need in my own community where I could help spread the love of Jesus. I found that in helping with Church on the Street. Since joining, I have been honored to hear the amazing stories from the members and help serve the amazing mission of COTS!

Early in my Augie college career, I learned of this amazing, inclusive Church that offered food for those in need, treated all with respect, and asked nothing in return. I even envisioned being part of their mission one day. Well, three years later, my supervisory role at our college garden led directly to a position with Church on the Street. I'm blessed to help people fill their bags with food, warm clothes, and other essentials.

Director of Music Ministries

Music has always been an important part of my life, and I feel like I have been blessed to be able to take on various instruments over the years. Playing or singing in church is something that I have been a part of since I was a kid, and is something that I look forward to continuing. I am excited to be able to contribute to the Church on the Street services in any way I can, but especially worshiping through music.
