May 2025 Prayer Requests
Dear Church on the Street Family,
The month of May kicked off with a wonderful Indian Taco pop-up meal in the First United Methodist Church parking lot. Two hundred fifty tacos were served along with May Day baskets for all ages. The month was full of celebration, welcome, and see you later.
Pastor Rebel Hurd (the first Mission Developer for COTS) came back for a visit and preached in Worship. Intern/Almost Deacon Mara was ordained, and is now officially Deacon Mara, called to Church on the Street. Skylar Allen is off to new adventures, and said see you later to the food pantry, and we welcomed Keith Sturzenbecker to the role.
At the center of it all, is the love of Christ which unites us as one body, called to live for the good of our neighbors.
Thank you for continuing to hold your neighbors and the body of Christ in your prayers today and always.
It's great to be Church together!
