November 2025 Prayer
Dear Church on the Street Family,
“Gratitude is strongest, clearest, most robust, and radical when things are really hard.” — Diana Butler Bass, Grateful
As we close out the month of November, we cannot deny that the past months have been really hard for many Church on the Street folks. It is in the midst of these difficult moments that we turn to God in prayer. We give thanks for you all in these times, for God's love made known through generosity.
We are grateful for the many folks who have continued to show up to do God's work with their own hands and feet. In Worship, at the laundromat, in the Pantry, God is there.
And, as we enter this new season of Advent. A new year for the church. We prepare for the One who comes to be with us -- Emmanuel "God with Us", who makes a new promise known for ALL people.
Thank you for continuing to hold your neighbors and the body of Christ in your prayers today and always.
Tuesday is Giving Tuesday, a day that kicks off the Giving Season after a long weekend of sales, shopping, and emails. Consider a gift to Church on the Street in honor of this day. Your gifts support God's love being made known in unexpected spaces.
Journeying together with Advent hope!
