October 2024 Prayers

Dear Church on the Street Family,

Ministry at Church on the Street continues traditions such as communion in the round to express the solidarity of being one, and we are learning new ways to literally walk together in the Native American Day Parade. 

Also, we are working with ministry partners Pueblo De Dios and Journey of Hope for an Empty Bowls fundraiser on February 20th. Your involvement is crucial to us as we join with other ministries that share our mission to walk with those who are unhoused and underhoused. If you would like to help make bowls for the event on November 16th, please sign up HERE.  

As we lean into new things, we're still keeping the fabulous events like Health and Healing on February 1st! 

God is working through our community to do amazing things, and we keep doing God's work because of you. Your prayers sustain the people and this ministry. Thanks be to God!

Calling on the spirit of Wisdom to guide our hearts and our minds, let us pray for the church, the world, and all in need.

Kaitlin: Pray for Justin to find love in his heart again for me and his daughter.

Pray for Liaci, health, and Leon and Miranda White.

Pat Eastman: Pray for Gail Holiday’s heart surgery in Minneapolis. Pray for family protection and safety, all children in the Castle who are sick and healing. For sobriety, guidance and protection.

Pray for me, I am homeless living on the streets, my parents kicked me out with no place to go. I am working with Southeastern Behavioral Health to get into the shelter care program.

Pray for my two sons Akicita and Raymond and also my husband Godfrey Chipps and also my sister, Kayla, who passed away a few months ago. Also for sister Kerrie Walking Eagle who is going through a lot in life, also for my sisters. Thank you.

Pray for Alex Robinson to give him strength to drive out the demons torturing him inside so he can become the wonderful man he knows he can be.

Pray for peace on earth, no more war. Mabel, check-up, special needs and her family. Those with mental health issues.

Cindy D: Pray for me, been very sick. Pray for my family, my son, he’s in treatment. Please pray he will stay sober.

Pray…that I stay sober. Elijah feels the presence of God to stay calm while dealing with hard issues. My mom’s breast cancer is taken away. Brad gets sober. Matt gets a new job and can become stress free. Hanna’s jeep and John’s car is fixed for cheap.

Pray for my mother Lucille Skunk to heal and help her through her stage 4 breast cancer. Also, my son Julius Moore to heal from being a victim of a stabbing. I want to thank God for saving his life and for him to still be able to be with me today. He lost his kidney and spleen but his lung, pancreas and diaphragm are still healing. May he heal and God help him to still go to college. Thank you.

Pray for Reavis family. Jennifer for health and harmony and Lisa, Tim, Chris and Kelsey.

Praying for food for me and my grandkids. I have no phone but always home. Please God make a way.

Pray for Mort (my dad), he is having heart surgery in November. Joannie (My Mom), she has a lot of health issues. She wants to feel good enough to go to church and other things out of the house. Keith (my fiance) he has had health issues and doctors haven’t been able to figure it out. It has been frustrating. 

Pray for Gerrie, I am looking for an apartment - 1 bedroom. Been looking for 3 months. I need prayers for my Bro’s sisters. Prayers for my 2 sons that left me - I’m still struggling. Thank you

I am having stress and anxiety in everyday life. I’m having problems sleeping because of my anxiety and stress. Pray for my friends and family. Keep safe and watch over them and Me.

Colleen Smith: Pray for strengthening on my spiritual journey. Pray for all human beings. Pray for my father Jesus Christ. Strengthening my family and Samuel's family. Pray for my oldest son’s surgery and healing on his amputated toes and some of his foot. Pray for my children and grandchildren. Pray for the people we meet on our path in life. Pray for Pastor Chris and volunteers and others that do things to do for others. Help me to understand my career for the Lord to help others. Amen. 

Robbie Apple: I help individuals who cannot walk or are too sick - they need food and I deliver what I can daily. I search for a missing girl named Sissy. I help Paul who is unable to walk sometimes and he’s hungry. Any help or if you have room in your life for a sinner like me. Thank you!

Pray for my daughter who is serving 7 more years in prison. And for my patience trying to get my youngest daughter to listen and stop her tantrums. To get her to understand that it is not safe to get on online chats. For her to stop trying to be sneaky and get on other places. For her to remain safe. 

Pray for motivation, healthy baby, be the best mother I can be. Help with my living expenses and my plumbing. Thank you Lord for my life and children. Pray for my mother and my nephew. Help him with school. Pray for family and alcoholism. Pray for strength and guidance. Amen, Samy and kids

Pray for my mother and her addiction. I pray she finds her way. 

Pray for my carpal tunnel surgery.

Pray for Karla and healing of her right leg. 

April Wendit: Here La Baue, take her cancer away. Let me finance and buy a house on French Ave in 57. For Mari and Mike, Eric and Sarthe, Karly. 

Pray for the ministry of COTS and for Emily that she will turn away from alcohol. 

Carl Los DeNoyer: Pray for my family and my best friend’s family and everyone on the streets sleeping. 

Malinda: Pray for my family and friends. I pray they find your love and have faith in and know to put it all in your hands. Trust and believe. Amen

Pray for our family. Pray for me and my wife. We need a cosigner so we can move into an apartment. Please love and send help. Lord, help those out here in this broken world. Show them that there are people that are still good. Thank you Lord.
