July 2023 Prayers

Dear Church on the Street Family,

Our offices are moving! Everything else is happening at the usual places, dates, and times.

On Friday, July 28, beginning at 1:00 pm, the Church on the Street Office will move into the LSS Multi-Cultural Center at 515 N Main St. in Sioux Falls. We look forward to our new space, where we will share a lobby with Siouxland Health & Human Services, where many Church on the Streeters already access care, and where we'll meet many more folks. The former Career Closet is turning into our food pantry, allowing us to serve even more families.

Earlier this year, we fed about 20 families a month, and now we provide for over 100.

Could you help us on Friday with vehicles that can haul shelves or totes? Please RSVP via email at chris@churchonthestreetsf.org or text 605-215-1143.

***We also seek volunteers to assist during office hours as we expect to see even more people on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 - 1:00. Again, please let me know your availability beginning July 31.***

Plus, as you'll see in the pictures, worship, Laundry with Love, and Art in the Park were all part of July, too.

Thank you for your continuing support of Church on the Street!

It's great to be Church together!

Pastor Chris

The cochroaches are so bad at my apartment that they have begun to carry weapons and armor poison hasn’t worked well though I have very little money to buy more. I just keep cleaning and cleaning although it must not be working as I find them in my clean dishes and laundry.

Lord, in your mercy,
Hear our prayers. Amen.
