December 2021 Prayers

Dear Church on the Street Family,

Christ the Savior is born!

At the December worship, we heard the Christmas gospel, shared a meal, and sang Silent Night. Gloria Dei provided a meal, volunteers, and stockings for adults while Peace Lutheran supplied children's stockings. Churches near and far provided beautiful quilts to provide warmth and a reminder that love and prayers abound! Bishop Constanze Hagmaier preached and installed Pastor Chris. We give thanks for all of our ministry partners.

We are already looking forward to worshiping on January 8th, and Health and Healing is coming up on February 26th.

The prayer requests are as always, filled with longing and the deep desire for God's kingdom to come. We do this work of lifting one another in prayer as we continue in this season of Christmas, celebrating Christ’s coming, as we marvel at what God is doing in Sioux Falls and well beyond.

Thank you for holding this ministry and the amazing people of God in your prayer all year long.

Thanks for your continued support and partnership!

God’s peace,
Pastor Chris
