December 2024 Prayers

Dear Church on the Street Family,

Christ our Savior is born! We celebrated the birth of Jesus with worship filled with scripture, holy communion, candlelight, stockings, dinner, and tiramisu. 

February is going to be a huge month!

Harriet is busy planning Health and Healing for February 1st from 1:00 - 3:00. More partner organizations are coming to provide everything that brings health and healing to our community, and we are so grateful for the ways everyone comes together for a fantastic day.

We look forward to the Empty Bowls Event on February 20th from 5:00 - 7:00 at the MultiCultural Center and hope you can join us for an evening filled with soup, dancing, and entertainment as we raise funds for Journey of Hope, Church on the Street, and Pueblo de Dios.

In the midst of everything, we take time to pray for God's help and celebrate the one who sees us through every day of this life and beyond. Thank you for your prayers and continuing partnership in ministry.

Prayers of the people...

Sunny: Jesus, I love you.  Pray for my baby due March 8. Pray for my family.  Pray for my love and our future. 

Pray for Doc and all his illnesses. May they find a cure soon for him. And please God, end this suffering in the world.

Pray for Sherry Lynn Jones. She is having surgery on Monday.

Geno: Pray for good health and happiness for all the homeless and families out in the cold. Also for my kids and sisters, parents, and sister in heaven. Also for Godfrey in his sobriety. Prayers for those who need prayers.

Please pray for a poor pet charity M. to collect enough donations to buy food and pay off the debts for the treatment of the pets. The veterinary clinic refused to help until the debt was paid. Pray that many more people donate. Thank you.

Pray for my daughter in prison so far from home and alone. For her to stay safe and healthy and to see a change in her life.

Patricia Eastman: Pray for guidance, protection and safety for all family members. Thank you for all the blessings that Church on the Street brings to us. Peace-love-hope-faith. Merry Christmas   Thank you

I would like to pray for happiness and blessfulness to my family and relatives. May joy and pureness bless their hearts during Christmas and New Years.

Karla Rivers: Pray for myself, Angel in Rapid City minimum prison, for Darcy in Pierre prison, Dawson in Vermillion Group Home, Julie in Yankton HSC. For strength and guidance for my right leg to heal.

Pray for my mom, Jerrilyn Roupideaux’s health. I pray it gets better and she starts to feeling like herself. I also pray for my dad who lost his girlfriend on November 29th.  I pray for strength for him. I also pray for my family, for healthy and good direction.

Phillip: Pray for my sister, Gerri, while she travels to Arizona and pray for me and I hope I can find a job, and pray for my boss and his wife.

Pray for Louis Running Bear that he keeps being positive even when he gets out of jail. I hope he gets help with what he needs.

Pray for all the members and guests of Church on the Street, my family, my children, my friend, Shelly.  I pray that God touches Cathy’s heart and help. Help her heavenly Father, keep her and her family safe.

Prayers for all for strength and peace. Pray for all to heal inside and out.

Dear Lord, Please forgive me for my short temps. Thank you for everything. I would like to give thanks and watch over the Church on the Street Staff, etc. Amen.

Karla Rivers: Pray for myself. My grandson Angel he goes up for parole in Rapid City for parole. For Julie in HSD in Yankton. For Dawson in Vermillion. For Darcy in Pierre prison. To get out sooner. They gave her 7 months. Strength and guidance. God bless!

Jennifer Andrews: Pray for Dylan, he is having a hard time he has stage 4 brain cancer. Pray for hope and strength for Dylan, they are giving him until March. 

Lavita Ramirez Garcia: Pray for my family. That we achieve and go threw with our goals for the New Year. Prayers for to find a new car.
