Farewell to Pastor Rebel

Hello friends,

As you know, Church on the Street was founded from a genuine desire to take the church's gifts out to the street. Our founder, Pastor Rebel Hurd, followed the call to start this ministry and trusted God would lead this Holy work. Over the past 6+ years, she has developed a mission, and you made it a congregation. Many of you have risen to lead, volunteer, serve, donate, pray, partner, and walk with Church on the Street. Today, we share that Pastor Rebel has accepted a new call as the Director for Evangelical Mission of the Northwest Minnesota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We will miss her, but we have no doubt she will spread the love of Jesus Christ far and wide in this new call, and we give thanks for that! God bless you in this new call, Pastor Rebel!

Please know, the Church on the Street Board will be making a leadership announcement soon, and together we will continue to trust that God will lead us in the holy work of Church on the Street. Also, the COTS staff and worship leaders whom you know well will remain the same.
