February 2025 Prayer Requests

Dear Church on the Street Family,

We are grateful for a wonderful and eventful month together. From our annual Health & Healing event to the Empty Bowls dinner, it was an incredible month of time in community. 

As temperatures warm, and we look toward spring, it is good to see familiar faces out and about. In the midst of joys of community, we also share in the pain and loss of our neighbors. Praying together, we read of lost loved ones, illnesses, surgeries, and the list goes on. We trust in the promise of God's presence in our lives in times of joy and suffering. 

Thank you for continuing to hold your neighbors and the body of Christ in your prayers today and always.

Pray for my sons Marce and Israel for sobriety and changing to do the work for Jesus Christ. For Samual and I in our journey for our unborn babies the Lord Jesus Christ is going to gift us with 3 babies soon. Our love for the Lord and also for Satan to understand his punishment to leave God’s children alone. 

Pray for Jena Redfeather. 

AJ Hill: Prayers for my entire family. My sister passed away – so prayers for her children she left behind. 

Jerilyn: Pray for health, family, friends and homelessness. 

Salena: Pray for everything to go smoothly. 

Pray for my family and fellow mates. 

Cornelius Logg: Pray for placement for myself, so I can work my way out of the shelter and get my own place. 

Pray for my children Kordelle, Kijanaj, Enob, Renbin, Julius. Help keep things strong with faith guide them closer to you LORD. Also, as I struggle with job help me remember you are here. Amen.

Pray for Leon and Miranda White

Pray for my son (Jeremy) so that he can turn his life around, he is on drugs and alcohol. I lost 2 sons and I don’t want to lose him. He has a very good personality, but looks like I am losing him. Pray that he gets away from alcohol and drugs and turn to the Lord. Thank you!

Pat Eastman: Pray for hope, guidance, protection, hope for all my children. Protects for all family members. Thank you Church on the Street for the fellowship, food and all the clothes. Thank you Pastor Chris and Harriet for always being kind! Thank you!

Ronnie Smith: Prayers for getting back on my feet and help for my daughter to get off drugs and baby to get mentally stable help.

Pray for my dad, Waylon Black Lance for strength and for his health and his eye sight to get better. Pray for my mom, Jerilyn Roubedeaux, for her health to continue to get better. Also for my family to continue to protect us and guide us. Amen

Adan  Multar: Pray for continued strength and peace through these difficult times I’ve been going through. I hope all my hardwork doesn’t go in vain. I pray that everything keeps working out.

Loving God Please help those who are struggling with mental illness and addiction issues. Please help Emily.

Pray for all God’s immigrants and those in the world that need help and support.

Lisa: Pray for my Mom who is in a nursing home struggling in LeMars.

Cleone is her name. Moving to a better peaceful-quiet. I recently moved to Sioux Falls.

Simon: Pray to get back on feet and get a job.  He’ll know how.

Nicole: Pray for a successful shoulder surgery.

Pray for my children in foster care, myself, and my kids’ father to find a job and continue my sobriety.

Jo: We pray for the needs of our country for our veterans and their needs. Amen

Pray that my man goes back to work and that we can find a better place to live that is felon-friendly.

Pray for Twila Ann-RIP. I miss you. Can’t wait to see you again. Always on my mind. Forever in my heart.

Jerrilyn: Pray for Health, Family, Friends, and Homelessness. A special prayer for my sister, Marilyn, going to surgery.

Pray for my sister’s family. She passed away on January 11th.  Prayers for my family for guidance, salvation and recommitment to Jeus. My sister’s family with their rent, lights, and having a hard time to transfer everything over. Thank you Jesus.

Pastor Chris: Good and gracious God I give you thanks for all of the Church on the Street community. Bless us and keep us one in You. Be with all who need you this day.

Pray for my Auntie Itice as she is in her last days here, God just give her strength, please and not to hurt and struggle. Please Lord help me make it and not be sad. Pray for my family as we all need your prayers.

Lavita Ramirez: Pray for my family and myself. I am struggling and going thru depression as I lose my mother. It has been very hard for me. I have been trying to pick up slowly.

Richard Alfredo LaChica II: Pray for strength and guidance, courage to fight addiction, to find a job worth talking about.

Jolena and Timothy: Pray for our three babies in the foster care system, Madeline, Timothy, Jr. And Nevaeh. For my mom, today is her birthday and my baby sister’s memorial. Pray for our sobriety.

Pray for all those who need warmth this season-warm housing, warm clothes, warm food, warm feelings.  God’s love provides warmth, please pray for those it can find it.

Pray for my mom who recently lost her best friend/sister. Also for my entire family and sobriety. I ask for strength and wisdom as I , myself am fighting my own addiction.

Karla Rivers: Pray for myself, for Angel, my grandson at New Dawn in Vale. For Darcy Pierre Prison. For Rebecca In Pierre Prison. She has cancer. For Dawson   in Vermillion Group Home. Help him with addictions. For Julie in Yankton HSC. For strength and guidance.

Pray for Laura Campbell and family at the passing of her father, Duane Lee.

Angel: Pray for my older sister Jenny, for her doctor appointment is on Wednesday. I hope she doesn’t have cancer. Pray for Angel for neckbone and collar bone to get better.

Pray for the May family as we have fallen on hard times financially, got a new car now we have to make payments and no money to fix the car. Also for employment for Mom and Dad.

Prayers for our dear friend, Twila Ann Sweeney. She was a good friend. Prayers for my son Dean High Hawk who got shot in St Louis, MO. He is going through surgery this morning.   Thank you.

Prayers for my brother Russell Wayne Hodgkiss for his safety and for his mental health, for his physical health and spirit. That he continues to fight the devil off. For myself that my family and Russ feel your love. That you continue to guide me. For Duke, help him with his patience, his mental health and his addiction.

Lavita: Prayer for me and my children. It's cold out. We don't have a car and I need help in life.

Pray for those who are struggling right now and those who are in need of some help. I pray my grandpa starts feeling better and for those who also experience cancer to begin to heal. I pray that I continue to grow my faith in you and continue to live my life through you. Thank you Lord. 

Pray for further gratitude and giving. 

Pray for Alexander Felipe Andrade, he’s in the Jameson Annex and is 100% innocent.

Sunny: Pray for a healthy and safe birth. For friends and family to mind homs soon. My mother Carole to continue to be strong and healthy. For all the volunteers at church on the street and pastors. 

Pray for Kray BB, Rachel P, and children of alcohol, drugs, and neglect. 

Pray for my friend to make her happy. I want to pray about outside - All of God’s creation!

Hello God, today I’m asking you to give me the strength to be strong for me and my children. 

Pray for the political leaders of the USA and across the world – soften their hearts to provide care and needs to those in greatest need. Pray to end the cruelty that those in charge are putting on people –open their eyes to sharing love –both for those receiving the love and also for those improving their own situations by sharing love. Those people who are on the receiving end of the cruelty strengthen their hearts and minds to endure and provide them hope for the end of their pain. Help them to love their neighbors even as they are being hurt. 

Pray for clarity over my relationship with my mom. She is an addict, lost in lies and continues to push away those she loves. My aunt Melissa is also navigating drug use and is involved in sex trafficking. She is at risk of losing her home and her children have been removed to safety. Prayers over all non-believers as God calls on their lives to love, worship, and live in peace with Him. Amen. 

Pray for Audrey Davis, to keep her healthy. Thank you. 

Pray for the Charging Hawk Family and all else struggling in this world.
