October 2023 Prayers

Dear Church on the Street Family,

When I am hungry, you don't want to be around me. On days that I come home and want to crash on the couch under blankets and not move, my husband wisely asks, "When did you last eat?" Thankfully, we always have something in the kitchen to eat, and within a half hour, I'm feeling pretty good.

Sadly, many folks don't have kitchens full of food. I recently looked at the numbers. The Fruits of the Freezer and our Food Pantry feed more families each month, especially since our offices moved into the county buildings. Families coming for food have increased over 100% in 2023 - 1st quarter 242 families, 2nd quarter 310 families, and 3rd quarter 561 families.

Thankfully, as churches discover the need, more food is being donated. If you'd like to help, bring donations to our offices at the MultiCultural Center at 515 N Main Ave on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 10:00 - 1:00.

Thank you for your partnership and your prayers.

It's great to be Church together!

Pastor Chris
